College Interns Dig Into
Learning Opportunity at MFP

Each year, several Lehigh Valley corporations host their summer intern programs in June. The Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley works with these companies to arrange volunteer service opportunities for their interns.

On June 24, 2022, 16 college-age interns worked with Monocacy Farm Project farmers Eli and Anton on a variety of projects, including planting, weeding, fence maintenance, pruning, trellis repair, installing stakes, and other tasks to maintain the growing fields and community gardens.
