Grow Healthy Community Initiative
Launched in 2016, the Grow Healthy Community Initiative provides free weekly supplies of organically-grown fruits and vegetables to low-income families, area shelters, food pantries, and soup kitchens throughout Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley. The farm currently provides support to:
New Bethany Soup Kitchen
Jewish Family Services Food Bank
Ecumenical Soup Kitchen
Incarnation Saint Vincent DePaul Pantry
Trinity Soup Kitchen
Northeast Ministries Food Pantry
Victory House Men’s Shelter
Resurrected Life Community Church Family Outreach Program
Interfaith Food Pantry
Central Moravian Food Pantry
Third Street Alliance Shelter for Women and Children
Collectively, these organizations assist thousands of economically-challenged individuals and families in the Lehigh Valley and provide more than a half-million meals each year to those who otherwise would not eat. Funding for this program is dependent on foundation and corporate sponsors, as well as individual donations.
